Jared Meyer '00, President ('05-Present) Jared Meyer of MakStar Management, is a business owner, professional speaker, and author who helps people make better decisions, control stress and tension, and improve performance. His first published book was called "University of Maryland: Off the Record" and since 2004, Jared has written six additional books. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration while majoring in finance and extensively studying stress management and human development. During his last three years at Maryland, Jared was a fifth-floor Resident Assistant in Ellicott Hall. His senior year, he was a commentary writer with two bi-weekly self-improvement columns, "Facing Reality" and "Meyer for Hire,” for The Diamondback, UMCP’s daily independent student newspaper. Liam Dunfey '00, President Emeritus ('00-'04) Liam Dunfey of University Advisors Admission Specialists, LLC has worked for four southern California universities:has worked for four southern California universities: University of San Diego, Loyola Marymount University, San Diego State University, and the University of California, San Diego. Currently, he works for Drew University as its Southern California Admissions Officer. Liam graduated from Elmira College (NY) and earned a graduate degree from the University of Maryland in Higher Education Administration. He is a member of The Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.
